The Who Am I Reflection should be in essay form, but you don't have to answer all of those questions on the guideline sheet. Choose what you would like to answer in about 1 and a half to 2 pages. Who Am I? Reflection Assignment Using the Mind Map Profile that you created, write a reflection about how you have changed/grown during your first semester of college. Include such items as: What factors have had the greatest impact on me? How are my background and what I’m experiencing in college changing or reinforcing my perspectives? Is college life what I expected? How does it meet my expectations? How is it different from what I expected? In what ways have my comfort zones been challenged? Do I consider these as positive or negative challenges? Am I committed to success in college? What steps and I taking on a daily basis to ensure my success? Am I open to the ideas around me? Are my perspectives changing as I learn new information and forge new friendships? Have I made an active effort to engage myself with college activities? Have I taken advantages of the services and benefits offered by the college? Have I made a concerted effort to make new friends and become acquainted with faculty and staff members? Has college been a positive experience? If so, how? If not, what can you do to make it a more positive experience? Your reflection should consist of no fewer than four typewritten paragraphs. Use standard margins and 12 point sans-serif font. Submit your Word or PDF document to the drop box by the posted deadline.
